Problem

Valentines Day is becoming one of the least celebrated holidays in the world with only a 38% participation rate. More people treat Valentine’s Day as optional or not “special enough” compared to other holidays.

Insight

People prioritize “everyday love/appreciation” over a single calendar date. Becoming more diverse in what “celebration” means from romantic nights out to platonic friend-appreciation.

Solution

Through a touching human crafted Valentines day campaign, Hallmark encourages people to celebrate love in all forms everyday.
Love isn’t just for Valentines.

The Thread of Love

Valentine’s Day animation campaign that celebrates love in every form: romantic, familial, platonic, and unconditional. It reminds us that love belongs to everyone: partners, families, friends, pets, and people of every background, belief, and ability. In a world often divided by differences, handcrafted characters and a red thread symbolize how love always finds a way to reconnect us, and why we should celebrate it every day.
